If you need as blueprint of how a REALTOR should conduct business, go no further than Ross Rylance.  My experience with Ross representing me as the seller was handled with the professional demeanor of a seasoned veteran.  A chance meeting brought us together and after our first conversation I was comfortable with him in my corner.  Being a first time "seller".  I had many questions.  He walked through the house with me and made some very good suggestions on what needed to be done to make the house more appealing to the prosepctive buyer. With moving out of state on my mind, I needed help with all the small "particulars" that come with selling a house.  Ross was up the challenge every step of the way.  He found me a great home inspector, and then followed up with the handy-man to do all the work at a very affordable price, even offering to help financially out of his commision if I needed the help.  We put the "House for Sale" sign in the yard on a Wednesday  afternoon.  We were not officially due to be listed with the MLS# until the following Monday. The day after the sign went up we had 3 people stop by to look at the house. Friday we had 4 more, Saturday even more showed up. By Wednesday, exactly 7 days after we put the sign in the yard we had a contract. I was shocked, I was fully anticipating a 2 to 3 month selling process.

As we went to contract, Ross didn't stop there.  He managed to get me more money than I asked for the house.  Our buyer exausted his financial resource so Ross had to fight his way through some tough negotiations to help with the sale.  In the end, everyone came out a winner.  I had to leave before closing to be at a new job, so once again I called upon Ross to do me yet another favor.  He handled my closing for me, Fed-Ex'd my check and also took care of getting my carpets cleaned for the new owner AFTER I LEFT TOWN!!

Your REALTOR should be personable, easy to talk to, open to clients suggestions and willing to go the extra mile for the client represented.  Ross was all of these things for me and more!  I found a great REALTOR and a friend for Life in Ross Rylance.
